Mechanics:
Vincent and Winston will be covering Larry from attacks from an unexpected angle. Should either of them be attacked, they will evade. If not and should a target present itself, Winston will use Bite, using same math as before.
Mechanics:
Order: Bite
Accuracy: Pool 6
3 Dex + 3 Fight + 0 Brawl
Damage: Pool 4 - Def, Flinch *3*
2 Str + 2
Flinch *3*
Included For Completeness:
Evade: 3 Dexterity + 3 Fight + 0 Evasion
You don't see a lot of this in the video game, but we're in a nest of wild animals, so I'm adding conditional orders for Vincent on the stack as well. (Trainers have HP themselves, so... that's a concern. After all 'If it bleeds, we can kill it.' applies.) If attacked, he will evade unless it places Larry in the path of the strike. Likewise, if attacked, he will defend himself using a basic strike with his cane.
And if my concerns are not warranted, well... that's roleplaying, ain't it?

"Good call, Doc." The unmistakable snarl of a growlithe's warning growl reminded him to keep his head in the game.
More snakes in the grass... How... fitting...
"Winston. Circle, Defend, Evade, Strike. A simple set of orders, drilled in by years of practice walking the beat. Set up a patrol perimeter, protect the civvy, avoid attacks and make use of any openings presented.
Winston reacts with practiced grace, slipping neatly into a patrol cordon around Larry with Vincent as the pair circle slowly, each covering the others' back as they interpose themselves between themselves and the looming danger they can't see. Vincent for his part, steps into the circle behind his growlithe in near perfect synchronicity, methodically sweeping his cane back and forth with a slow, polished gait as he scans the area for incoming danger, brandishing the the tip ahead of him in a guard stance.
"Watch yourself, kid. We're not out of the woods yet." He hisses, before raising his voice. "Can't see nuts from here, Doc. Call 'em as you see 'em."
Slow and clumsy, Arcaeus-damnit. He feels the muscles in his arm tense like a coiled spring and suddenly wished he still had his old nightstick with him.
Or a service revolver. That would work too.
