After run in with an irate pidgey in a playtest game I played in with my staff earlier this year, with the current state of your Ralts you might want to try multiple actions.
You currently can't pull it off due to insufficient dice in the pool, but since Ralts is swinging with a lonely single damage die while Striking (which can't drop to 0), swinging repeatedly with multiple actions means you should have a more chances to make that point of damage stick if you hit.
Chip damage is still chip damage.
That, and the mental image of a Ralts flailing at a target is kinda hilarious.
