Given that he's been running full peal for quite awhile, he's not doing quite as well as he appears. Ventus is keeping up the calm, collected front, but truthfully he's getting rather burned out from all the action in this day. He could drop dead at his feet right now, were it not for the fact that his friends were in danger. 'All I want, more than anything, is assist them however I can, and keep them safe. Resting on the job doesn't do meet either of those goals, so I must soldier on," he though, eye like steel. While running back, though, he and the group encounter Vince. 'Why is he retreating? That's doesn't fit what I little I know about him...unless he can't fight anymore.' He thought, his already high levels of dread spike even further

"Vincent, I'm sorry for I left you back there, but I have returned with reinforcement. We're heading over there ASAP, so continue your retreat to the Pokémon Center, my comrade!" He shouted to him, before sprinting past him. He has to get the NOW, before things get worse! Even though it was a single Pokémon, he remember the saying "A barrel full of Mankey."
