Mrs. Nathan: "Well, I can give you a ride home if you are through here. You and Ralts will need lots of rest, and I think I'll need you on the ranch tomorrow. One of our Ponyta, that old troublesome one, escaped yesterday and it's making the other Pokemon anxious. We need to brush them all down, feed them an extra treat, and give them plenty of exercise. Also we need to make sure their homes are as clean as possible."

"Seriously?  Again?  That's the fourth time this month...I'll go look for her tomorrow.  She can't have gone far, right?  As for that ride home...no, I'm not done here quite yet.  I need to do some training with Ralts.  I think it's about time he finally learned how to use his psychic powers for more than empathy..."  He trails off at this point, not wanting to elaborate on WHY he thinks so.  "I'll be home in a couple hours, I'm sure.  Actually, thinking about it..." 

Nathan pulls out his pokedex, showing it to his mom.  "This has got a phone function in it, in addition to a surprising amount of other functions.  I'll call the house phone when I'm finished."  He takes a moment to register his home's phone number in the device, then puts it away.  He hopes that will alleviate at least some of his mother's worry.
