"My home will always be here, Mom. But I think we both know I can't extend this journey like that. Not if those people continue to do similar things to other pokemon like they did to Ralts. And if they learn Ralts is still alive and well despite their best efforts, I wouldn't want to bring them to Trillium...there's also no telling how long the others would be willing to help me, and I doubt I can do this alone.

"If it makes you feel any better, I will check in with you every day while I'm out there." Nathan pulls out his pokedex again. "I already said this thing has a phone function, and it contains a lot more than that too. I will call you, every single day I can. That way you'll know when I might be either in trouble or an area where there's really bad phone reception. Hopefully the latter if that's the case. It has a map, the pokedex, a camera...this thing is loaded with features. I think it'll be $1300 well spent.

"Now, I do intend to go to Ginger Town first. Maybe help Shiva out with that whole Day Care thing. I think all my time reading and ranching might be helpful there. And that brings me to the next part of what I intend to do: finding that ponyta. Seeing as this is the fourth time she's escaped this month alone, and every time we've caught her, she's always been somewhere outside town, I don't think she wants to stay on the ranch either..."
