That moment of "my Pokemon is AWESOME"
#13
Final battle against CURIE, Gamma Urayne ended up nearly sweeping my team. It outsped most of my team, so I thought I was going to black out and have to reset because I know blacking out in that battle was going to glitch the game. (I had Actan but was trying to avoid using it)

I started off with Electruxo hoping that it could tank a hit... and it got oneshot and didn't even proc Static because I'm pretty sure the move was a Special move, and I think it might have been the one that's a Nuclear Overheat. So I switched to Yatagaryu... not realizing that weather effects weren't activating in that fallout storm thing. Yatagaryu got outsped and oneshot with the same move.

Realizing Urayne was a huge threat, I switched to Archilles and immediately Mega Evolved, forgetting already that Drought wouldn't activate and thinking Flame Impact would get a lot more damage than it did. Archilles was oneshot by Atomic Punch(?). I sent out Fafninter for some bulk while I revived Archilles, planning to use Extremespeed when Fafninter died.

He survived the first hit from Atomic Punch.

Realizing "Wait, Fur Coat actually helps me here" I used Ice Shard to get some chip damage in before Fafninter went down. When he did, I sent out Nucleon, wasting no time with the Half-Life. Urayne used Atomic Punch again... and Nucleon survived. It actually barely did anything compared to even Fafninter. So I take a turn to revive Fafninter, and Urayne uses the Nuclear Overheat again. But by that point its SpAtk is so much lower that Nucleon survives with maybe 4 HP, and I use another Half-Life before Nucleon finally goes down.

Fafninter finally takes Urayne down with a crit Ice Shard.
