WHOA! Astonishingly, Ralts succeeds on the move right away. Nathan goes staggering around the room for a moment, knocking a book onto the floor (Golurke's Peerage - a gift from Corporal Wake, who doesn't really understand children).

Well, I really liked that little bit of roleplay between Nathan and his mom.  Some of my favorite roleplay so far in this campaign.  So, what does everyone think of her so far?

I am a grown man. It is hard, but I will pass on the chance to make an overly obvious Yo' Mama joke.
That said, this is the sort of character exchange that defines an RPG for me. Computers can't even begin to grasp this yet.

It's good to get at a look at your character's backgrounds and motivations for sure. Nice to see a character with good familial relations too.
