You have to split the base XP up among all the Pokemon that battled (just like in the games).

So Poliwag is worth 2XP. Divide it by two and give this to both Pokemon (1Xp for Togepi and 1Xp for Ekans).

Ventus gets 1 XP from the battle.

Then you get 1Xp from day 1, then 1Xp from day 2!

But I never gave anyone Xp for game day 1 - that's why it's 2 today.
