Ventus is a sweet, kind, and caring guy...except when he's not. When something triggers his carefully conceled bottoms, or if his in a battle situation, Ventus is definitely the most pragmatic and ruthless guy you'll find besides Vincent. Considering he's more than willing to use his Pokémon to attack people if they pose a sufficient threat to him, or are acting in a manner that poses a risk to themselves and others... well. I'd like to point out that you poisoned that Carnivine.  And it sunk into the mud while unconscious.  Died within a few hours from either the poison or suffocation.  I wouldn't call that 'being cruel to be kind.'  That's just flat out cruel.  What did that poor plant ever do to you?
