Still encounters although riding in the RV? Cool. Reserve that Minun for me! Free berries - they might have no effect, but they still are useful to feed Pokemon. If those berries especially don't taste horrible, that is.

Could as well go for the special Nincada, but seeing it's a bug type... Cottonee's half Grass... And Shiva wouldn't want to catcht hat species...

Well, all berries have an effect of some kind, whether its as a hold item or as a pokeblock/poffin ingredient.  And the only ones that might taste bad to a pokemon are the ones that restore HP but confuse pokemon that don't like the taste (based on natures and contest stuff in the games, of course).
