Blacksmith Round 1
"Mankey, Karate Chop! Get that food bowl off him and go for whatever opening presents itself!"
Karate Chop
Accuracy: 1 Dex + 3 Fight + 1 Brawl = 4 dice
(4)(2)(6)(3) = 2 successes
Evasion: 5 dice
(3)(1)(1)(6)(3) - 1 success, evasion fails.
Damage: 2 Str + 1 STAB + 3 power - 2 vitality = 4 dice, didn't realize how much power this move has!
(5)(5)(1)(3) - Moran takes 2 damage, now operating at -1 pain
Knockdown
Accuracy: 2 dice
(1)(6) - good enough!
Damage: 2-1 = 1 dice
(5) - Mankey takes 1 damage as Moran tugs at the foodbowl with one claw, then suddenly lets go of it! Moran looks to you for encouragement, then proudly scuttles over and puts the foodbowl back on its carapace. 3hp remain.
Blacksmith Round 2
btw I made a mistake earlier, Moran will actually go first.
Mechanics:
Aww. If I'd known I had priority, it would have been the Knockdown first for defensive purposes to force the Mankey to use an action to stand rather than punch Moran in the face, then a Scratch, rather than the Evade then Knockdown. Also, shouldn't Karate Chop deal a single point due to Moran's Bug Type resistance?
And now I'm awake...
If you're keeping the current init order... Since it's basically floored, I'm going to keep using a knockdown order on the priority after the Mankey uses an action to stand.
Second action is a conditional. Either Knockdown AGAIN if the Mankey is standing (either through recovery or a miss) or a Scratch .
Mechanics:
Order:
Primary Action: Knockdown
Secondary Action: Conditional Knockdown/Scratch
Knockdown: (Basic Move) Primary
Accuracy: Pool 3
3 Dex + 3 Fight + 0 Brawl - Multi Action Penalty (2) - 1 Pain
Damage: Pool 1, Knockdown
2 Str + 0 + STAB - 1 Target Vitality
Knockdown
Scratch: (Normal) Secondary
Accuracy: Pool 2
3 Dex + 3 Fight + 0 Brawl - Multi Action Penalty (3) - 1 Pain
Damage: Pool 3
2 Str + 2 - 1 Target Vitality

"Not a good opening exchange, but not a terrible one." He notes, paying attention to the Mankey's exceptional strength.
"Ground and Pound, Moran. Keep it on it's behind and follow up with a scratch."
