I thought that seemed too easy. What page is that rule on?

It's after the water moves in the move list. If you search Stabilize an Ally in the document, you can also jump straight to it.

Also, my bad on missing the accuracy decrease trait of it. I've made note of it for future reference. Still glad it didn't affect the outcome at all in this case.
