Ventus says, handing over $200 PokeDollars to vendor. Afterwards, he carefully focused his attension on the pearl, tracking its exact position amoung the shell. Ventus is also watchful of the man's hands and arms, watching for any foul play on his part. 'I get nothing but positive feeling from this man, but it always pays to be alert,' the researcher though, his happy smiling belaying none of his inner thoughts.

(Meanwhile in the future, at the Berry Vendor_)

"You have quite the haul of Ranc berries, I see! In that case, I'll take a couple of them off your hands, if you don't mind~" Exchanging $400 PokeDollars for the berries, he carefully stowed his purchases safely in his satchel, and left to wander the fair grounds. He decided that he would take in the sights in little more, before his rampant curiosity sends him all over this town.
