Game crashes when doing anything internet-related

When I use the patcher it says that it failed to get the patch list

Have you even READ around the forum first? Original devs had to leave the game b/c of Nintendo, new devs took over, patcher had to be changed/updated before it could automatically patch the game. This info is on various threads already with a few threads even dedicated to how to update. Like how could you be totally clueless about these stuff?!
