Ventus just sighed when Nathan snapped at Valder about his name, shaking his head at the young trainer. "While Valder hasn't had the best of first impression, there is not reason to treat him like dirt for just trying to find an appropriate nickname to call you. If you can, try not to snap at our newest friend." Droping back a bit from Nathan's side, he was now walking beside the mercenary, managing to look grim and disappointed at the same time.

"I'm sorry about my companion, he's just...reluctant to relay on others. The boy wants to do it all himself, but is reasonably unable to, so he looks for strong, reliable people to assist him.
