Reading through this, I should mention that crits stopped ignoring your own boosts in gen 2. That was an odd quirk that gen 1 had due to the...limited code. Frost Breath should work just fine with Quiver Dance, though that'd really only be significant if your opponent was boosting their Sp Def.
