"Well, I did say you would get a reward for your hard work, so go ahead and eat your fill of Combee. If I call, though, I expect you to be at my side poste haste. Until then, enjoy your sweet meals, Apsis!" Like last time his Ekans hunted another Pokémon, the sight of her devouring the honey bees didn't bother him in the slightest. He had seen his fair share of feral Pokémon behavior in the wild, so Apsis and the other Ekan's actions didn't overly bother him much. 'It is the cycle of life: Pokémon are born, grow up, and do their best to surivive in this world. Whether or not they die at old age, or by the acts of a predator, depends entirely on their skills and ability,' the research contemplated, calmly surveying the post battle situation.
Now that his mind was off battling, he could tune into the facts that a pool of honey was blocking there way. While they could cross it, he had a strong suspicion they would either get stuck fast in the mess, or have their mobility severly hindered until they get the honey off them. 'Neither of those outcomes are desirable, so how do we cross? Well Swiftfire could bake the honey into a glaze, making for a less trechorous pass. Let's try that,' Ventus thought, before turning towards Nathan.
"My comrade, I think we are in agreement that neither of us want to be in a sticky situation by walking in that pool of honey, so how about getting Swiftfire to blaze a way for us. They seemed capable of it, judging by that glazed Combee I see over their," he said, pointing to the afformention Pokémon. Judging by the state it was in, it was not going to be moving anytime soon. When he say Nathan was already doing that, he clapped his hands together in pleasure. Looks like he was not the only one with a bright idea! Suddenly, though, a thought came to the researcher, and he dug around in his satchel for something. After a moment, he pulled out an empty potion bottle; apparently he didn't throw it away earlier once he used it.
Looking at the group, he just motioned with the container at the pool of honey. "Since I have this vessel, I might as well try to get gather some of this honey. It would be perfect for baked goods, or could be sold for a pretty penny!" With that being said, Ventus tried to collect some honey into the empty bottle.
(Well, since I think Ventus would not be a litter bug and throw away his trash in the wild, I thought to keep the bottle on hand. Looks like it might come in handy, if Iron allows it.)

Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
