[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

Oh boy, assuming he's going to do something stupid.  To be fair, I could have probably phrased a few things better, but his intention was to just put a little distance between himself and Ventus.  He needs to avoid any further aggravation right now or...well, things aren't going to be pretty.  Ventus just got a taste of what would come, but Nathan managed to hold himself back just enough that time to avoid completely collapsing in on himself.  He's definitely caught up in the moment, though.  He cares deeply for almost all human and pokemon life, and this event has escalated the threat level really rapidly as opposed to more gradually, as well as shaken Nathan to the very core.

Nathan's a lot more fragile than he wants to let on.  He tries to avoid situations that would break him, but Ventus is doing a pretty dang good job of just repeatedly mashing that button.  It's bringing back many bad memories, and Nathan's starting to find it a little hard to focus.  Ventus has even seen what Nathan's like when that happens, already.  Aggression is just one of the ways he tries to quell the fear, but it's an easy way.  He's going to be feeling incredibly drained later.

Nathan's not the only one who remembering a painful past. Seeing Nathan break his promise and leave the group...it caused him to overeact and hound the boy. Ventus doesn't want his history to repeat right before his eyes, so he became enraged at the boy and tried to force him to stay for his own safety. Seeing as that back fired horribly, now all he can do is just hopelessly request he stay close. Just as I mashed Nathan's buttons over letting Apsis eat the Combee, he's done a pretty great job of jabbing at Ventus' well hidden ones.
 
Just to be clear, this isn't related to the deyo flowers. His deep seated issues stem from his past, which by this point must be getting downright mysterious. There is a reason my character worries about everyone's needs and wellbeing, besides being a general worrywart and all around caring guy. My character can keep it together regardless of the boy's decision, but if they get harmed because he left the group... Ventus might not be able to live with himself at that point. Everyone should be aware of how unstable my chara can be, but you have seen when he goes full on manic depressive, but you haven't seen just how bad it can get.
