Ventus is not too attatched to the Princess personally, and actually would like to get it off his hand as soon as possible. He's not going to just give it to Larry though, since he wants something valuble in return and isn't quite sure giving him a Pokémon with a High Disobediece evo would be so smart...

If Ventus really doesn't want her, Nathan will take her off his hands.  It would allow her and the small combee to enjoy each others' company much more frequently.  Though...he doesn't have anything he'd be willing to trade right now, really...Nathan definitely doesn't want to see the two of them separated, and he doesn't want to leave the small combee in just anyone's care if the little guy leaves along with the princess.

When the princess comes back and the group is together again, Nathan will probably want to talk with Ventus about this, even...

If you make a good enough argument, he'll give her to you Nathan. He has a great deal more trust and faith in your ability as a trainer, for rather obvious reasons. He's going to be rather grumpy about it, though!
