Once his meeting with the leader was done, he decided to around the fair for sights he hadn't seen or been at. The Squirtle Race didn't have much appeal to him (since he obviously didn't have one), and the Shuckle Ball game was a bit too...barbaric for his taste (Pokémon Battles are tolerably ok; beating one like its a stress ball, no.), so Ventus decided to go to the Trainer Trading Board to see what a Female Combee would possibly get him. His faith in Larry as a competent trainer is rather...dubious, so giving him a Pokémon with a high disobedience seems to be a recipie for disaster.

'Especially consider he already has an Disobediant Ekans, a Nincada that will evolve, at best, into TWO highly Disobediant Pokémon, and a Mankey that everyone, including even me, seems to forget about. I think I'll refrain from stacking the odds against the poor boy even more, for the time being,' Ventus though, before he got a look at the offers on display
