Ahahaha, this is adorable.

He just caught her in a sensitive spot, while she's well aware of the fact that a Fire Type would be helpful indeed. If her reaction was needed to keep hold on the egg, she's fine with it, but she's definitely not up for any arguments/fights here, and will most likely interact normally with him starting the next day. What Nathan does furthermore, is up to you, but she'll rather quickly notice if he tries to avoid her.

Anyways, from the way I started things off for the day, Shiva would have found him in the lobby, waiting to see what everyone else was up to for the day before heading out himself.  His interaction with Shiva was...normal.  Not really anything else.  He doesn't want to bring up the topic again.  He's still unsure of what he should be doing about the situation by that point, so he's simply trying to keep up a facade of normalcy so as not to alarm anyone else in the party.  Though Shiva might recognize it as a little TOO normal if she thinks about it...
