Holy Fucking Crap! My Angel almost turned into a Demon! May I give a standing order for Raphael to always hold back if it happens to randomly do a Lethal attack?!

That's just about what I was going to suggest.  Nathan also hinted at this after his battle with Ventus, by the way.
