I thought Zamboni's team differs a little between every challenger? It would be very weird if he's use just the same Pokemon on a rematch against the same person.

Wrong idea or not, Nathan was too preoccupied with his explanation to notice her approach, and the surprise and nervousness resulted in...well, that.

Zamboni just said he'd use the same team if Ventus challenged him again later, unless his pokemon evolved before then.
