Well, it's partially from Shiva's sudden outburst, but it's also because of the recent troubles with Ventus.  Nathan would rather just avoid approaching her about the topic all together right now since he doesn't really have anything else to say on the matter.  He's not wanting to push any buttons again so soon after (mostly) fixing things with Ventus.

Fair enough. Oh, and yelling at someone is pretty much out of character for her, since 1. she has enough control of her emotions to prevent this from happening and 2. her anger and wrath are rather cold and wicked instead of the hot-tempered I'll-shred-you-to-pieces type. If someone's nice to her, she can be as charming and kind as ever - if cornered and pestered, she'll just show how nasty and vicious she can be. Quite a contrasting nature, indeed, but it matches somehow well with the Fairy Type (which is, suprise suprise, her Type of choice) - it reaches from sweet exemplars like Sylveon to vicious Shiinotic. Most of them are more than what they are on the first glance, as well as Emotions playing a big role for them.

At least Helios the Abra did not get hurt during battle and had his fun to evade everything, so it's perfect. ^^
