Walking forward to meet Zamboni, he carefully took his well fought for Glass Badge, and humbly thanked him. "Thank you for the opportunity to face off against you. If you were not such a tenacious opponent, my Pokémon would never have gained the experience they needed for further advancement and growth. I know Apsis would not have evolved without the adversity, that is for certain! May fortune favor you in the future, as it did for me now," Ventus calmly but happily said, not wishing to rub in his victory to the man. He was a gentleman and empathetic soul, and while he could get a little wild at time (to put it nicely), he's not the type of person for showboating. Still, he took the skates from Zamboni and put them on, lacing them up carefully.
"While I don't believe I'll do a victory lap, how about I repay your generosity with a dance? It has been a while since I have done this, but I believe it'll turn out alright." With that said, Ventus skated far away from the Gym leader, and began his dance. And dance he did. Gliding across the surface of the ice, his form was excellent despite being out of practice, as he twirled on the ice, showing a remarkable amount of flexibility for a stuffy old scientist. The man even propelled himself into the air one, leg splayed outwards, before he nimbly touched upon the ice, never once losing momentum of his balance. If one didn't know better, they might have thought Ventus had the ability Serene Grace! The fact that Raphael quickly ran out on the ice and joined him only made the specitcle that much more amazing.
Finishing his performance with one last twirl, he skated back to Zamboni, and returned the Ice skate. "Thank you, Zamboni. Perhaps we can keep in touch? I am a Pokémon Researcher here on a research visa, and I would certainly like to know more about the Ice types in your gym!" he said, giving one last thanks to him, before he walked over to the stand, scooping up Michael and his little angel in his arms. Michael, how had been hopping up and down in pure elation from overcoming that daunting Swinub, now shared Ventus' good spirits, hopping up to his place on the man's shoulder. Raphael just chittered happily, extremely glad that their efforts helped net their master victory. It wasn't a weak anymore; far from it! Apsis was in her Pokeball for the time being, for, as much as Ventus wanted to celebrate there recent achievements with her, didn't want to unleash them while still in the gym. He needed to have another talk with her about not eating other trainer's Pokémon- the hunger he felt from the Arbok was unmistakable.
Reaching Nathan, he just gave the young trainer a great big hug. "My deepest thanks, my friend. If it was not for your helpful advice, I surely would not have stood a chance against him in my second go." Then, turning to face Shiva, he bowed to her for her support. While he didn't hear her cheering, her Mice certainly made up for it! That, and he could feel the hope she held for him while he was on the ice. Looking at everyone, he let out a hearty laugh, enjoying everything that has happened today. "Well, now that my business he is settled, let us make haste to the Pokémon Center! Tomarrow is a new day, and our journey awaits us!"

Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
