Dragon, let's not be too nit-picking on the simitar-battle, shall we?

Nathan was keeping an eye on that battle as it progressed, if not what was going on around it (not that there was much else going on).  If someone mentions their contributions there to him, he's going to be...annoyed, let's say.  My friendly reminders here are so we can prevent that in-character for as long as possible!

Also, the scimitar himself might also just laugh at anyone else who tries to claim they contributed to driving him off in that swamp. That'd be quite the reality check!
