In fact, Birdie actually has nice egg moves... Apart from Steel Wing and Dazzling Gleam, which it can learn via TM anyway, none is available though.

That is correct, nice that you got one. I figured the moves that could go on it normally were good enough, so I didn't bother with EMs.
