I did some controlled burns in college. Kinda fun. But I love the little plants, even the thorns when they aren't stabbing me.

Did you know that burning poison ivy can get the urushiol, the chemical we're allergic to, into your lungs and all over your skin? Had a cousin almost die from it.

No, but I usually am far, far away from my fires with a hose and extinguisher ready, so that never was a issue. Have to respect fire, or you get badly burned.Now I guess its time for me to buy a rebreather for my next fire clearing, since that pesky plant grows everywhere I live!
