Ventus is quite interested as well, but he knows when to give the medicine man time to brew his potion. Besides, interrogating him for all his arcane knowledge seem a bit gosh to the researcher without paying some form of compensation. He'll want to collect at least one sprig of Gildenleaf for his next capture, given its great properties!
Also, if you desire, you can send Ventus a voice message to his phone about the events. That way, he has time to react and process what has happened before he starts asking questions to Nathan. Time that might stop him from planning anything too...relentless.
