Ventus will of course turn them over to the League as a part of there investigation, as while he would have no problem with having that power, he doesn't desire it so much as to prevent that bloke from misusing it ever again.

That, and he has an somewhat Alolan mindset when it comes to Megalutions : they are dangerous for both the Pokémon, trainer, and opponent, if the power it offers is not controled. Ven doesn't believe that having such an artifact would be a swell idea for him, given his...ruthless nature. If anything, he'd give it to Nathan, since he trust them to be able to use it properly WITHOUT making a total mess of things...
