This whole thing got so weird... I love that!

Weird or not, everything is stacked against you for the most part.  Mostly because of how Sage started this.

The book, robes, statue, underwater door, rare mega pokemon, huge amount of resources...seems we're dealing with Scimitars again.  Though it's only a conclusion Nathan will reach if Shiva tells him about the book.  Which she might not...

Ventus has not put two and two together yet, but he knows that either the Local RU is corrupt in some way, or that whoever is leveling such charges at him must have quite the pull and a big grudge to bear. If Shiva brings up her thoughts on the matter, though, he'll quickly cotton on to their presence, and react appropriately. Of course, he'll have to endure Nathan's scrutiny, but hopefully his claims and his future reveal will calm them down...
