Words could barely describe the Happiness Shiva felt emerging from the core as she picked up the Pokeball containing the fox. So warm and soft fur... Small magical fox... Rare like nothing... Received from an elusive place... Received with nothing but spending some time together and offering food. Who said you have to battle a Pokemon before even thinking of catching it? None.

But... too bad it got sent to the Pokemon Center before she could call Fennekin out. She already had five Pokemon on hand, plus the egg that took the last free space. Way faste than she thought, she was able to fill up her party... With Pokemon that see her as their Master...

Slowly, she stood up from the place, though. The others were waiting for her in town, after all... It became rather dark meanwhile, and the chattering of nocturnal Bug Types was everywhere. Better leave now. But not before taking a last view on this elusive spot, bowing down in front of it and thanking silently for the granting of her first Fire Type.

Luckily, she didn't run into any trouble on the way back to town. The fact that she was in a rather haste surely helped, so she was somewhat out of breath as she arrived the edges of town again. Wineberry was dark and sleepy... barely a soul was visible on the streets. Now... best choice was heading to the Pokemon Center, was it? Likely that she'll find Nathan there, alongside the others. She told Ventus not to wat for her, but given the prone-to-worry person he was, she was somewhat sure that he stayed awake and awaited her secure arrival. To think about it, that was actually somewhat...cute.

She didn't make it to the Pokemon Center, though. In front of the infamous Genesect Statue, there was somewhat... At this time of day? How weird... Before she remembered that Ventus had a Burn Drive from the pond. That he has a connection to Genesect, as he described. Now guess who that was at the statue.

She approached him, and saw to her delight that Valder was there as well! Upon greeting him, she turned to Ven. Who was...somewhat in a stupor, as it seemed... He just stared at the statue, who was...blinking back? Eh... And revealing a staircase leading somewhere below ground... She didn't even dared to say a single word. She already knew what was about to come now.

Mechanics:
I wanted to go to the Pokemon Center, meet up with Nathan. But I ran into Ventus and Valder along the way... So I'll likely follow them down the stairs if they decide to investigate right away. I assume my time line matches this? I surely spend a while at the Power Spot with Fennekin, but meanwhile the others were occupied with important talking.
