Kirlia sits down next to Nathan and gives him a hug.  If there's one thing Nathan needs right now, it's a stable friend.

How heartwarming. I just finished reading the conversation between Ventus and Nathan.

Not much to say here. I wanted to meet up with you in the Pokemon Center, but stumbled over Ventus himself along the way. I'm sorry for that... Otherwise, Shiva would be more than happy to stand by his side to provide comfort, similar like she did to Ven during the Deyo Flower Incident. ... If he'd let her. She's involved in this mess with Pinsir, but luckily not to a dangerous level. Just received a warning and a small fine, which were and are quite a lesson to her.

He'd appreciate it, probably.

However, now there's the issue of what to do with those stairs...I don't think it's a good idea to investigate them right now.  The smart move is probably informing Chief Lumin immediately.  If you guys go down there without Nathan, you'll be leaving him behind in town again (he has to stay in the area until Princess is healed), and there's no telling what you'll find this time, or if you'll even be able to return.

As gung ho as Ventus probably is to investigate that, he'd be going in there without the group's best fighter.  And if it is a base or secret passage for the Scimitars, the group is going to need all the firepower they can get if we go in.  The scimitars had to dig up half the town to make that, after all.  Whatever they made, it's big, and it runs underneath southern Fireweed Forest, maybe even all the way to Chicory Lake...
