"Whether it's falling on deaf ears or not, I really am sorry for putting you through that. I don't like how that battle started any more than you do. It doesn't excuse your trainer's actions, but I don't hold that against you, just so you know. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. Can you forgive me for my reckless judgement of the situation?"
