I'll have to get the whole group together to go over the elemental triangle of Types, since everyone has at least one Fire, Water, or Grass type in their team. It would be remiss if Ven didn't lecture them over how to properly care for those types, and what to watch out for in their development!

Hmm... Nathan is missing a Grass Type, you as well as Sage a Fire Type (if he catches/hatches Bulbasaur) and Valder has totally different Types on hand with Pawniard and Ghastly - But if my Azurill ever evolves (hopefully), I'll have the Grass-Fire-Water-Combination indeed in my team. She'll gladly listen what Ven knows about this.

Nathan might not have a grass type, but Kirlia can learn Magical Leaf, and Gallade can use Leaf Blade immediatly upon evolving.
