The Great Cookie Capers!

It didn't take long for Agent Dragonstrike to prepare once he'd typed up the report. What took him awhile was finding what might suffice as a secure location to type up and send the encrypted message...find one, he did, though. He had learned a few tricks from all his years on the streets, after all.

He'd be a fool to pass up on this opportunity for information, but he'd also be foolish if he didn't prepare for the worst. He had several...safety measures in place, just in case.

As he approaches the restaurant mentioned in the letter, dressed in his usual black attire (complete with a trench coat and fedora), he reviews a few things in his head...

'Giovanni's Bistro...a backwater restaurant on a backwater street in a backwater town...it looks nice enough considering the area it's in, but with a name like that, it makes ya wonder what's really going on in there...what worries me more is the letter's mention of Chief Ranger Phantom...I thought I recognized her, but that confirmed it...why did The Cookie Thief claim to be engaged to her though? I would have thought she would have put down a criminal of that caliber lickety split...this case just gets stranger and stranger...if this thief is so willing to provide answers though, maybe that will clear up at least some of this murk I've somehow found myself thrown face first into...'

Absol is lurking in the shadows with him. If this Cookie Thief really does know he's here, then it's only a matter of time before he shows up...and Absol is ready to use Night Slash at a moments notice if it's anything less than welcoming.
