"No offense to you, but I find that attempt at intimidation to be equally as mediocre.  I've seen scarier in my time, not that it's anything you need to know about.  And you can dig all you want for info on me.  You won't find anything except what little everyone else knows.  Zero.  Zilch.  Nada.  A Mystery Gift wrapped in an Enigma Berry shrouded by myths.  Now then..."

He pulls out a set of dice.

"...how do you feel about games of chance?  Since you seem SO eager to bond, I thought I'd bring something that would...liven things up a bit, shall we say."

*Instantly, the oppressive atmosphere vanish, as if it was never there at all*

Now there is the spark I saw, flicking so fiercely! Such sass is quite becoming of you, my rival! As for your dice game...

*The thief flashes a rougish grin at them, suddenly sizing up their worth once more*

That would be just smashing. Be forwarned that I'm a quite skilled gambler, but I'll give you a fighting chance against me. Choose whatever game you wish to play, and I'll try not to trump you so hard in it. If you happen to win, however, I'll answer anyone question you have for me; but only just one. If I win, though...you have to meet up with me again, this time for dinner.
