Business was better in Corsage than Winesberry, but even the normally happy job felt dismal, as people just didn't seem to have much life to them. Still, he had a good reason to be happy now, as he now had just enough money to finally square away his debt to the courthouse. 'Finally, I can be free of this burden that has caused such a disarray in my life. Though, perhaps I should see if I can't get myself out of this bind without paying, since those Scimitar certainly don't deserve the satisfaction of oppressing me this way!' they though, still upset over the fact that the mages called the cops on them. Villainous wizards were supposed to nebulous and hate the law, not use them like a puppet!

After shopping around for the Black Glasses materials-he didn't have any luck find bottled coffee, drat-, Ventus was approached by a person asking him to help catch Pokemurder that had been plaguing their aquarium! Immedianlty, Ventus accepted the man's offer; despite the unpleasant mood the town put him in, he would never overlook the opportunity to help a person in need!

"Someone is so vulgar as to kill rare specimens in your aquarium? Unacceptable. I'll be glad to help you in whatever capacity I can, and I will of course gladly accept the protection you offered. I have some other business to conduct in town first, but I will be here before night falls, I assure you. Now, before I go, can you tell me anything in particular about these murders? Cause of death, if there's a pattern among the victims...anything would be helpful to prepare myself for the task ahead."

Order: Accept the job offer, ask a few question about the murders, then head over to the court house to finally pay off the debt/look into the trail process. Then, he'll head back over to the Aquarium to do the task that has been appointed to him. My character isn't all that heroic, but they endeavor to be helpful in any and all ways!
