On the way to the aquarium, Ventus passed a young woman dressed in a pitch black dress, and was wearing what looked to be a talisman of some sort. He tightly clenched his fist as they caught a glimpse of them, as their appearance all but screamed 'Witch! WITCH!' at him, and a scowl formed on his face. 'Not only is there nightmare infesting this port town, but mages as well? Kuyrem freeze them to their core! I can't initiate conflict with them; who knows what dominion of power they draw from, and how experience they are with their craft. Hopefully if I continue along to the Aquarium, I'll part ways with their company,' the researcher though, quite unhappy with having to share any amount of his time with a witch.

After a few more minutes of walking, the witch was still trailing after him, and they had just about enough that. Gracefully turning around, he was about to politely ask why they were following them-and readying Apsis Pokemon for quick release-when they got a better look at their stalker. It was Shiva, dressed in the attire of a witch! Greatly confused by the change of wardrobe by his closet friend, he called out to them haltingly. "Shiva...is that you? I'm sorry for leaving your company so abruptly, but I was in an especially foul mood at the time and was focused on getting work, so I left without much regard to your feelings," Ventus said, rubbing the back of his head in chastisement. Leaving them without warning in such a dismal port town was, on reflection, a pretty boneheaded decision.
