I think the intent might have been that only Abilities stack, out of everything that modifies stats. Even items and moves don't stack. We'll go with that, because it's pretty easy to remember

You allowed me to stack Plus/Minus-ability to stack with Nasty Plot, remember?

That's under what we know is allowed to stack, though, since that's an ability with something else.  Everything else doesn't, I guess.

Considering Burns don't lower attack in pokerole, it's probably for the best, too.
