Either Shiva has to let him in on the secret (in which case he'll keep it to himself, since he will now understand how much is at stack with the knowledge), or he going to give her an especially hard time for now on. Romance will be the last thing on his mind at this point, unless Shiva really starts to chase his tail. That would be quite confusing to him at that point, since he's out to dig up the truth, and she's trying to start a relationship with her!
