He would head to the Center immediately if the damage was a problem, likely with Teleport. Hyper Fang is probably more worrying, since the Rattata is pretty much guaranteed to know it and both Shiva and Nathan have no pokemon that resist it on hand currently.

Overall, I'm not worried about the battle itself. Just curious to see how it unfolds and see how it manipulates the upcoming events.
