Nathan feels and hears Kirlia cry out in immense pain as that Crunch connects! It stops him in his tracks as he roots through his bag.
He looks up slowly, afraid of what he might see...
Kirlia's arm is heavily wounded, and bleeding a lot.
'No. No no no no no no no.
'NO!'
His worry quickly turns into rage.
'Not...now...'
"Not...EVER! Kirlia, keep attacking it with Confusion! I'll handle that wound once it faints!"
He doesn't realize he said that last part out loud, and he's forgotten Shiva is there entirely. His only focus right now is on Kirlia and the Rattata that would dare inflict lethal damage on Kirlia.
As soon as Rattata faints, Nathan will run over to Kirlia and do a medicine check. After that, his focus will return to Rattata. He might do something drastic if Shiva doesn't snap him out of this...
