(I figured he'd pick up on it, which is why I'm getting the start of that out of the way now.  Don't want it to be the main focus of Day 16 though if Absol doesn't actually show up)

Nathan stops immediately when Ventus grabs his hand.  He sighs.  "There's a lot to think about, Ven.  And a lot of dangerous pokemon out here.  I'm just staying on guard, is all.  After those wild pokemon we all faced, I don't want to drop my guard entirely.  You'd do the same, right?"

Ventus feels that Nathan isn't fully divulging the source behind his anxiety, but he doesn't try to push the issue right now. He wants his bond with Nathan to strengthen after their recent conflict, not become even more flayed from nagging at him like a mother hen. "I understand, my friend. I'm always vigilant for any danger that encroaches upon the group, so rest assured that I will alert everyone if something is amiss, or perhaps take care of the problem myself if its not too trying for me. Stay safe and be well in your team's training, Nate," he says, letting go of their wrist and waving them off. Now all their is left to do is talk to Shiva, and inquire how's she has been doing...
