Well, I though of something that might work to without employing flashbacks or retcons: just have the Honey sharing event in the morning as a way of enjoying the last of their camping trip, and a reward for all that hard training. It would also put everyone in a better mood when it is inevitably tanked by Corsage's corrosive presence!

I've already stated that I've planned it for the evening of the prior day, though.  Several times.  :/  I don't really want to go back and edit all of those, unless Shiva wants to suggest they invite Ventus as well and wait for the morning to do it.  That would also cut into the time we have for the next day, seeing as I plan for it to take up an entire encounter slot.  And we already have to spend a little time traveling back to Corsage in the first place.

Then I will just have Ventus decide he rather go to bed straight away and Let Shiva and Nathan have that encounter in the past, instead of contriving him to be a part of it. He wants to get as much rest as he can before he eaters the horrid place once more, so he'll just have to miss out on the Honey party (If it raises the happiness of all Pokémon by DM fiat, I'm going to eat my hat; Raphael is just one point away from evolving...)
