Oh, I'm well aware of that. Once Porygon goes down, the gloves are coming off again since that's the last pokemon Shiva can easily take out. No point in stretching the fight out any further than that.
It should really help her get a feel for the flow of battling, in the end, since Nathan had his pokemon act as willing punching bags (that were sorta hitting back) for a bit.
