Ekans is getting a little angry too. He's taken damage, he was ordered to move his bulk at high speeds - he was ready to relax in the sun and fire off some lazy poison stings. And now the Mankey is kicking and scratching him. His angry poison sting hits Mankey right in the exposed arm, which begins to throb with poison.

Mankey is a fragile little critter and has only a small chance to resist so much venom.
