Nathan's not asking to be involved.
He's asking 'why?'
Why Ralts evolved into Kirlia. Why Shiva and Ventus can't seem to trust him with even a little of that information.
Nathan has a very hard time letting go of the past. 'Why' is a question he always tries to answer. He gets incredibly frustrated if he can't. Add on to that the fact that this involves his best friend in the whole world and those he wishes to try and be friends with, and it only magnifies the issue.
It's driving him away. (enough atm to have him run off without the rest of the group temporarily)
He doesn't want to fight over this. He doesn't want to have to worry about stepping on Shiva's toes on the matter. But every time he finds another reason to worry about it, it makes it that much harder for him to remain a solid friend.
