Seeing Ventus leave caused...some interesting reaction in her. It felt like something cracked deep inside. Something deeeeep inside. Something she hasn't realised being there before.
It felt like being abandoned. Practically being left on her own when she was in need for other's care. It was plain...hurting. Still, she didn't do anything to prevent Ven from leaving. She knew trying to keep him there now won't be possible. That...only increased the pain.
As he was gone, Shiva let herself sink back into pillow and called her batch of Psychic (and future Psychic) Types to her. Wasn't even needed, since they came to her on their own. Must have felt that Master was anything than fine again, after she just became better... Psychic Types, alongside Fairies, seem to be prone to their caretaker's emotions.
My dear, your emotions are running wild again.
...Leave me alone.
Stop sheding those bitter tears.
...But...I don't want to...
Old, OLD spats between those who are natural brilliant fighters and those who are not. Additionally to that one between more quiet people in their comfortable background and those who greatly enjoy the spotlights. Shiva had more than enough of being underestimated and not taken for full. Her words weren't meant against Nathan directly, but looks like Ventus took them as they were.
Still she needed to solve that issue. It just...had to be done. Keeping Helios, Fennekin and even Kyuu close to her, she typed up a message in cell with somewhat shaky hands and sent it to Nathan. It read as following:
"Nathan, you there? Where are you now? Ven told me about the issues. I decided I should let you know a little about why your dearest Ralts evolved. Tell me where you are where to meet you, is today's evening fine? I can teleport using my Abra anyway, so meeting up is no problem. If you...decide to decline or I don't show up, keep in mind that I deeply care for you. Take care and stay safe."
Afterwards, she silently placed cell onto the floor. There was her salt circle... Completed with just a gap in it. Broken. Like she was, currently. Right... The selfblame came again and threatened to devour her without mercy. She could just await the night, send the Pokemon she collected so far to her father's care in Castelia City, then damn everything and head to the shore... None would even know until next morning. None would even CARE. Enough of this. She didn't grow older than 19 and would never see an evolution of her own Pokemon, but honestly she didn't care about this just now.
Wait... her own thoughts began to scare her. They practically SCARED THE HELL OUT OF HER. The mind was a powerful thing, and as prone as Shiva was to positive emotions, as prone she was to hate, fear and despair. She wasn't that strong like Ven was during loosing all his family members.
So, she just stayed there, occassionally stroking through Fennekin's yellow or Kyuu's grey fur, and awaited the further happenings or darkness falling over Corsage... What a lovely setting for an end.
Hours passed since Shiva awoke from that lucid dream, grew fond of owning a small Espurr and enjoyed Ventus' visit. The grey kitten has been registered to a Pokeball as well - Shiva felt a Dream Ball would be perfect, but she didn't own one of these sadly - and sent to Plusle to the PC in return. She was feeling way better meanwhile, at least physically. Good enough to leave the Pokemon Center, stil taking care of course.
As she was just there mulling over things and doing her best to prevent too much tears from wettening her pillow, Nurse Joy came in and relevaled the request from the Fortune Hunter! She was overjoyed over both The Hunter keeping a hold on her as well as well the ooprtunity to 1. do something to get her vivid mind off things and 2. seeing the huge ship from earlier again. Before she left though, she stopped by at the PC in Lobby and deposited Minun onto PC while withdrawing Kyuu and the black-spotted egg. It pained her a little te leave her Electrci rodents, but she wished to have the Espurr with her and since she was running around anyway with Fennekin in party, the egg as well.
From what Shiva could tell, the atmosphere in Corsage was indeed...a little different, now that she was out and not just looking at the streets from inside her dorm. Yet she couldn't tell what exactly it was, but that doen't matter that much now since she was greatly enjoying this 'shift'.
It didn't take long to reach harbour, the HMS was still ther in all her might. It excited her to get the chance to see the ship from the inside. Th only issue was how to find that person called Fellman... But if she'd look out for sailors that seem to be in ahigher position, she'd have to find him eventually, shouldn't she?

"Oi! Remember when your Cottonee rumbled around in my garden, picking up shards? I had a request for a similar job, from the docks. There's a big ship at dock - the HMS Challenging Gaze, you may have seen it. Apparently there's a network of struts below it, and some items have fallen down in there. They want someone small, with some small mobile Pokemon, to crawl in there and retrieve the items. Just go talk to a sailor named Fellman and he'll tell you the details."
