Glavinug can definitely win its 1 on 1 duel against Escartress. Surf 3HKOes and Glavinug, being faster, can Taunt against Toxic and Recover. Also, I've considered a fully specially defensive set, Escartress might want to run a mixed defensive spread, I don't know.

Alpico and Frosthra make for formidable rivals, you said it. Stat-wise, they're more adapted to the meta than Glavinug in every way, which makes me think that Glavinug should be sorted into an inferior tier than those two.
Oh and I just realised Alpico TOO had access to a Technician-boosted Hidden Power. Guys give me a break. First Astronite, then Marshadow, then Alpico... this is such a convenient tool, ugh

Fully defensive Beliaddon? Why would that be played? Or are you referring to a [252 Atk, EVs left split into defenses for better bulk] spread?
